Angelo Castelli

Angelo Castelli – Nato ai piedi del Monte Cimone nell’aprile del 1948, dopo l’avviamento professionale a Sestola si trasferisce in pianura, a Modena, per frequentare l’Istituto Fermo Corni, dove si diploma disegnatore meccanico nel 1966. Entra in Ferrari nell’ottobre 1966 come disegnatore e, un anno dopo, vince le Olimpiadi del Lavoro per il disegno tecnico. Dopo essere divenuto funzionario e poi dirigente, il 1° maggio 2002 riceve la Stella al merito come Maestro del Lavoro. Dopo 42 anni in Ferrari, lascia il Cavallino nel 2008 da direttore del comparto Tecnologie e Infrastrutture. Per altri dieci anni, fino al 2018, è stato consulente della Ferrari per i nuovi progetti infrastrutturali.

La storia, i progetti e le avventure vissuti in oltre cinquant’anni al servizio del Cavallino rampante sono raccontati in questo suo primo libro (e, sostiene l’Autore, anche ultimo) intitolato Dentro la Scuderia. Mezzo secolo di vita e lavoro per la Ferrari.

 

Angelo Castelli – Born in April 1948 at the foot of the Mount Cimone, after the compulsory education in Sestola he moved to the plain, in Modena, where he attended the technical school “Fermo Corni”, obtaining a secondary school certificate as mechanical designer in 1966. Hired by Ferrari in October 1966, one year later he won the first prize for the best technical design in an important competition. During his long career, he became corporate manager and then area director and, after 42 years in Ferrari, he retired in 2008 from his position as Technologies and Infrastructures Area Director. In the meanwhile, on the 1st of May 2002 he was awarded the “Maestro del Lavoro” (Master of work) star for work merit. For another 10 years he worked as Ferrari consultant for new infrastructural projects till 2018.
